Perk Up Your Porch or Entryway

After a long winter, some deep cleaning and sprucing up is in order.

Dirt, grime, and cobwebs collect, especially around outdoor lights.

Follow these simple steps to beautify your porch or entryway.

First - Take everything off the porch. WP_20170520_14_02_59_Pro

Second- Clean windows.

I like to use an outdoor window cleaner that you attach to your garden hose.

First, spray down the windows with the cleaner set to "Rinse."  WP_20170522_14_04_53_ProNext, switch the cleaner to "Clean" and coat the window with suds, then switch back to "Rinse" to rinse off the cleaner.  Repeat with each window.

Third- Hose down porch.

With the window cleaner on "Rinse" spray off the dirt, grime, and cobwebs.

Also spray the door, siding, sofit and the garage door(s).

Forth - Replace items on porch.

Wipe down porch furniture then move everything back onto the porch.  Add pots of flowers, and/or decorative pillows if desired.

Voila!  You have a clean and inviting porch or entryway.
